Layers of local government

 

1. Parish Council: The executive committee of the parish council consists of 9 volunteer councillors, plus the salaried clerk. They are elected every 4 years and appointed according to the population of each ward; Beare Green 4, Capel 4 and Coldharbour 1. Parish Councillors are not politically aligned.
